What is Prime Pay?

Prime Pay is a fintech payment aggregator that partners with licensed banks and networks to provide businesses with secure payment acceptance, disbursements, and collection solutions.

How can I start accepting payments?

Sign up for a Prime Pay merchant account with your bank account, NTN/CNIC, and business details. Once verified, you can start collecting payments right away.

Who can Signup For Merchant Account?

All businesses operating in Pakistan can signup for Prime Merchant.

Can I register as an individual, freelancer, or company?

Yes. Individuals, freelancers, sole proprietors, and companies can register, subject to SBP KYC requirements and verification by our partner banks.

Do you charge setup or monthly fees?

No setup fee or hidden monthly charges. Only a one-time annual account maintenance fee (PKR 5,000) and standard per-transaction charges apply.

Do you offer discounts for high-volume businesses?

Yes. High-volume merchants benefit from custom pricing and reduced transaction fees, negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

Which currencies do you support?

Currently, PKR is supported for domestic transactions. For cross-border payments, customers can pay in USD, GBP, EUR, or AED, but settlements to merchants will only be made in PKR (subject to partner bank approval).

How secure is Prime Pay?

We use bank-grade encryption, fraud monitoring, and do not store card details. All sensitive cardholder data is processed by our PCI DSS compliant partners.

Can I accept international payments?

Yes. International cards such as VISA and MasterCard are supported via our acquiring partners, subject to compliance approval.

What payment methods can my customers use (cards, wallets, bank transfers)?

Customers can pay using debit/credit cards, Raast bank transfers, mobile wallets, and other digital channels supported by our partner banks.

Can I generate payment links or invoices for customers without a website?

Yes. You can send customers payment links or invoices via email, WhatsApp, or SMS to collect payments without having a website or app.

Do you provide subscription/recurring billing options?

Not at the moment. Recurring billing and subscription management are on our product roadmap and may be introduced in the future.

How do refunds work through Prime Pay?

Refunds can be initiated from your merchant dashboard or via API. Funds are reversed back to the customer’s original payment method, subject to bank timelines.

Can I offer my customers QR code or wallet payments?

Yes. QR code payments are supported for all customers through Raast and partner bank integrations. Wallet payments are also available through our supported e-wallet partners.

Do you provide reporting and reconciliation dashboards?

Yes. Merchants get access to a secure dashboard for reporting, settlements, and reconciliation.

Do you provide 24/7 merchant support?

Yes. Our merchant support team is available 24/7 via phone, email, and chat.

Where are your offices located?

How fast are settlements/disbursements?

Most transactions are settled within the same or next business day. Settlement speed may vary by acquiring bank.

Can I withdraw funds to any bank account?

Yes. Settlements are deposited into your verified bank account, regardless of which bank you use.

Do you support instant payouts?

Instant payouts are available in partnership with select banks and may be subject to additional charges.

Is there a minimum payout limit?

Yes. The minimum payout threshold is PKR 500 per disbursement.

Can disbursements be automated (e.g., daily or threshold-based)?

Yes. Merchants can set automated settlement preferences for daily, weekly, or threshold-based payouts.

Can I create branded invoices with Prime Pay?

Yes. Merchants can customize invoices with their logo and brand identity.

Do invoices expire if unpaid?

Yes. Invoices come with an expiry timeline which you can configure during creation.

Can invoices be paid via multiple methods (card, wallet, Raast)?

Yes. Customers can pay invoices through cards, wallets, banks, or Raast transfers.

Do you offer recurring invoice support?

Not at the moment. Currently, invoices need to be generated manually, but recurring invoicing is on our future roadmap.

Will customers get receipts automatically?

Yes. Customers automatically receive digital receipts via email/SMS after successful payment.

Does Prime Pay offer developer APIs?

Yes. We provide RESTful APIs for collections, disbursements, refunds, reconciliation, and reporting.

What type of APIs do you provide ?

We provide APIs for Collections, Disbursements, Refunds, Invoicing, Reconciliation, and Hosted Checkout.

Do you have sandbox/test environments for developers?

Yes. A sandbox environment is provided to developers for integration and testing before going live.

Which platforms can I integrate with (Shopify, WooCommerce, Laravel, etc.)?

Currently, Prime Pay APIs can be integrated with custom-built applications. Official plugins for Shopify, WooCommerce, and other platforms are under development and will be launched soon.

How do you handle API uptime and monitoring?

Our APIs are monitored 24/7 with real-time status updates on uptime and latency available on our status page.

Do you provide SDKs or plugins?

Not yet. Currently, merchants can integrate using our REST APIs. SDKs and plugins for popular platforms are planned and will be launched soon.

Do you offer hosted checkout pages?

Yes. Our hosted checkout solution allows customers to securely complete payments without PCI burden on your business.

Can I customize the checkout with my branding?

Yes. Checkout pages can be branded with your company logo and colors.

Is checkout mobile-friendly?

Yes. Hosted checkout and APIs are optimized for mobile and responsive across all devices.

Do you support one-click or saved card payments?

No. Since Prime Pay does not store card data (we are not PCI DSS certified), saved card payments are not available. This ensures security.

Can checkout work inside mobile apps (SDK/Webview)?

Yes. Checkout can be embedded via SDK or Webview inside your mobile applications.

Can I get real-time transaction alerts?

Yes. Real-time alerts are sent via email, SMS, or webhook notifications for every transaction.

Is Prime Pay licensed with SBP?

Prime Pay operates as an aggregator in partnership with SBP-licensed banks and networks such as 1LINK/NIFT.

How do you verify merchants (KYC/AML)?

Merchants are verified through Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks as per SBP regulations.

Can individuals also register under SBP regulations?

Yes. Individuals and freelancers can register, subject to KYC compliance and approval by partner banks.

How do you protect customer data?

All sensitive customer data (such as card details) is processed securely by our PCI DSS–compliant banking and network partners. Prime Pay does not store card information. We ensure encryption, secure transmission, and compliance through our partners so your customers’ data remains protected.

Do you store card information?

No. Prime Pay does not store any card information. Card data is processed securely by licensed banks and PCI DSS compliant processors.
